Our Sweet Sixteen celebrant, the lovely Patricia Ong!
Patricia's Sweet Sixteen was held in their own home in Talayan Village. When you enter the party area, you will be amazed as their whole veranda was draped in pink and makes you feel like a princess, literally. In addition to that, there was an extra table filled with goodies such as popcorn, gummy candies, and even Paris-themed charm bracelets!
Tres chic... And sweet!
Since this blog is about fashion and events, let me give you a run-through on what the party-goers wore for this event!
Let's start with the birthday girl and her barkada. Our birthday girl wore a stunning hot pink spaghetti-strapped dress. It was embellished with beads, crystals, and rhinestones. As you can see, her dress compliments her fair complexion and makes her eye-popping. To finish the look, Patricia wore a pair of fuschia stiletto heels. The girl in the middle is Khlarica. She wore a deep sky blue sleeveless dress and laid on an ultramine blue see-through blazer. She wore a pair of silver heels to finish the look. You can see that her look is perfect. Finally, Sharleine, the girl on the left, wore a two-tone pale pink dress. She accessorized it with a crystalline necklace, which went perfectly with her outfit. Since she went with the light colors, it makes her skin look even lighter.
Let's move on to some guys. The guy in grey is Liu. He really took the word semi-formal and wore a, uh, semi-formal outfit. He wore a formal top that consists of a blue polo shirt and wore a grey tuxedo coat over it. For the bottom, he wore a dark pair of jeans and finished with a pair of rubber shoes (KD5s, if I'm not mistaken). Don't forget,of course, his signature Ray-Ban glasses. If you think that his getup is weird, let me tell you it's not. It looks awesome and unique... It makes him stand out from all the guys at the party. The guy in red is Daniel, or JD. He actually looks good in his outfit which consists of a red long-sleeved polo shirt rolled up to the elbows and some black pants and dress shoes. You can see that it really fits him well, snugging every right angle (P.S. He has been going on an all-veggie diet).
Of course here's me! I was taking a selfie. Whoops. I donned a navy blue sweetheart neckline dress that goes a bit shorter than mid-thigh. My sister did my hair (which cannot be clearly seen). She tied it into a sleek ponytail and curled it to perfection. She also did my nails. If you look closely, my fingernails, except for my ring finger, was painted in purple. I accessorized the look with a number of silver and black bangles. For my shoes, I chose a gladiator sandal with a 2-inch 'killer' hill. The other choice was a pair of 4-inch ankle boots. I chose the glads because I'm not a big fan of boots. The girl beside me is Diana. As you can see, her hair is tied up in a neat-messy bun. Her dress is a classic knee length dress in turquoise. And it compliments her skin too! To complete the regal look, she wore a thin gold chain necklace with a jade droplet charm.
