Shooting for Science

Every year in my school, we have to do a project called "Photo Essay." In this project, the details vary each year. For instance, when I was in first year, we had to capture a scene with biological factors in it while in second year, we had to make a campaign to care for our earth.. In my junior year, we also had to make a campaign to reduce the trash. For this year, our teacher told us to dress up as a physicist, or maybe just dress up LIKE a physicist, and show an invention by a physicist.

Alexander Graham Bell (March 3 1847-August 2 1922)

The scientist I chose for this year is Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone... The telephone is considered as one of the world's greatest invention, as you can talk to anyone in the world in just a couple of seconds. And since this a prop that is nice to use, I chose him.

Since I really don't do cosplay, I just did my own take on what I think a modern physicist looks like. I did this early in the morning so my hair rolled down naturally, which was great. I wore a grey sequined blouse (which cannot be seen) and paired it off with a black and white striped skater skirt. I didn't wear any shoes except my home slippers since I was shooting from mid-leg up. To complete the scientist look, I borrowed my mom's white blouse which was super big on me so it looked like a lab coat.

Here are some more photos from the shoot:

Drop me a line!
